- Biography
Well, I pretty much live at the pool all year round. I eat, do my homework, swim, workout, even my college searches there. The only thing I don't do there is sleep(even though I catch an occasional nap when not in the lifeguard chair), so I guess you can see why my user name is swimgirl. I've even broken my wrist at the pool. I'm a varsity swimmer for my school and am a retired diver due to a shoulder injury. Hmm...One interesting fact about me is that I was homeschooled until 6th grade. I love golden retrievers. I have also received two nicknames from my coworkers at the pool unfortunately. Smart Girl and Band Geek because I'm involved in almost every kind of band at my school and I do well when we play Trivial Pursuit when in down rotation at the pool. School wise I am taking seven classes, five of them are AP/Differentiated/Honors classes, a double class period of Marching Band, and Newspaper. One of my classes recently wrote letters about Constitution Day and sent them to a state representative or senator and Senator Robert Byrd and recieved some attention from local media which was cool. Ohh, and my favorite tv shows are Star Trek, Wheel of Fortune, and the Monkees.
