- Pretty much teaches me how to be a good manager, especially in a position with a focus in IS/IT. This is for later, when I eventually want to get my MBA and move out of the "hands-on" sector and into a managerial position. This is provided I don't slide into a consulting position.- Homepage

- Biography
I enjoy all adventures big or small. Whether on a mountain bike, on a snowboard, in my kayak, in/on a jeep, or simply on foot, I'm probably smiling inside. Given nearly any alternative, I believe "on foot" is not your best option if you're traveling a distance greater than 36 miles.
I was once very conscientious about doing things efficiently as possible, though I find myself rethinking my methodologies. The shortest distance between two points is a straight line - no argument there - however I believe it may not be the 'best' way given certain circumstances. View life in terms of Birth & Death, for example. If the shortest distance is a straight line, I for one am happy taking every zigzagged path and detour I can possibly find. I have finally truly learned to stop and smell the roses. I blame the movie Big Fish for that little cognizance.
- Favorite music
- Alt, classical, techno, some country., More precisely: Goo Goo Dolls, Foo Fighters, Garth Brooks, Eric Church, Jason Mraz. Classically, I'm a pretty big fan of Chopin, Vivaldi, Handel, Bach and Tchaikovsky. Beethoven is a shoe-in, if not cliche.
- Favorite books
- Westerns by Louis L'Amour, and I'm almost through most of the stories of Anton Chekhov; you should check them out.
- Favorite news sources
- The Economist, Bloomberg, The Hour, The Colbert Report, South Park
