Biography

If there is one thing I've learned in life, it's that it isn't always fair. As a matter of fact, it rarely is. But things seem to get particularly bad when people just give up. I was born to a parapalegic woman who had lost control of the lower half of her body in a drunken motorcycle accident. When I was three years old, she had a stroke, leaving her further disabled. At the age of five, my mother and my father divorced, and as my mother degraded further into her state of self-pity, her mal-nutritioned daughter was growing more ill everyday. Eventually the state intervened and removed me from the home. I was crushed. My mother was my world, and though I look back now and thank God for saving me from that situation, at the time I couldn't have been more heart-broken. three weeks later I was brought back to my mother. She had found a "care-taker" -who ended up being a theiving, cheat of a woman with two demonic children that followed right in her footsteps. Needless to say that didn't last long, and soon my mother was inviting a plethora of terrifying characters, meth addicts, theifs-by-every-meaning-of-the-word, and my personal favorite - sex offenders. I was molested when I was in the third grade, and my mother refused to tell the authorities. She claimed that the man was just trying to get to know me better. (Well Mom, if he wants to know my pants better he can look at them when they are not on my body!!!) This unhealthy pattern continued for nearly eight more years. The state tried to intervene many times, but generally could not find substantial evidence - other than my mother's blatant refusal to quit her marijuanna smoking habits (she always claimed it was medicinal). Lucky for me, before I could be sexually assaulted again, the state snatched me out of my mother's custody when she knowingly allowed a convicted registered sex offender to live in our home. Now I live with my 33 year old sister, and her fiance, whom I love very much. I owe everything to them. And despite the fact that my mother was never one that I could call perfect, she did make me the person I am today, and I owe that to her as well. Life isn't always fair, but with out effort, should it be?

Favorite music
I'm kind of what most people might call an odd duck. I like litterally all types of music, I really couldn't settle on one type if I tried.
Favorite books
Anything buy science fiction!!! I hate reading about futuristic scary stuff, becuase who knows, it might actually happen. Right now I'm reading a series called The Wheel of Time.
