Biography

I was born in a sunny state, on a warm winter day (warm compared to where I now live). I've lived in the south and the midwest, and I'll be going back to the south this fall for college at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. I've been homeschooled my whole life, although for the past two years I've also attended the local community college. I will be majoring at LeTU in digital writing, and minoring in aviation. I plan to pursue a career as a freelance journalist overseas. I also will be getting my pilot's license this summer, and will continue my flight training at LeTU. After I graduate, I would like to get a master's in archaeology from Wheaton College, too, and go on an expedition with Bob Cornuke.

I loooove to travel, and plan to travel the world once I graduate (if I'm not married, or if my husband's willing to travel, too). I want to visit Alaska (or live there), Greenland, Scotland, England, Russia, Brazil, Israel, Egypt, China, Japan, Kenya, South Africa, Morocco, Australia, and New Zealand. But the top place I want to visit is Antarctica. (Yeah, I know, wierd place, but it's not explored super well, it doesn't belong to any country, it's perpetually frozen [I like the cold] and there's landmass under the ice, which means there could be opportunity for archaeology if they ever are able to dig through the ice)

I've never had a boyfriend, although that will change this Saturday (March 3), since I'll be going out on the first date of my life with an amazing best friend, Jordan. He's in an awesome band, called The Broken Fall, and you can check them out at myspace.com/thebrokenfall.

Since this is a politics/current issues-centered site, I'll say that I'm a conservative. I'm Republican, but not die-hard. When I get to vote, if someone from another party stands more for what I believe than the Republican candidate, I'll vote for the other person. I'll be voting based on my values system, than my party.

I am a Christian (the kind some people like to call fundamentalist). However, that doesn't mean I'm going to tell everyone else they're all doomed to death, and never be friends with them. I have friends of many kinds (liberal, homosexual, extremeley conservative, geeky, preppy, goth)...and I love making new friends, even with people of totally different beliefs than I have (we often have the best conversations of them all!).

I plan to get married within the next 5 years, and have kids. At least 3, at the most 7. And you probably don't care, but my kids' names are going to be Josiah, Jeremiah, Jedidiah, Beniah (or Zachariah), Kathryn, Taryn, and Lorelyn. (4 guys, 3 girls)

Now you know more about me than most people...go ahead and drop a line!! I'd love to know more about you!
