About Me:
I love. I'm Gay. I'm a mother of 2 beautiful girls. I'm in a long term committed relationship with my future wife (once it's legal of course). I am myself. I empower all to Be free. Be Happy. Be Healthy. Be you.I am a thirty year old woman. I was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1976. I had a rough childhood. My birth mother was a heroin addict. I was actually born addicted to methadone because she was in a treatment facility, which turned out to be one of many. My birth mother and hitch hiked from Tucson to San Diego when I was five. We ended up in this back country town (village is probably a more appropriate word) called Lake Morena, which is where I grew up. I was adopted by a lady, named Frankie, in Lake Morena after some finagling with my birth mother. It took five years to complete the adoption because my birth mother was continually disappearing. I went to Mountain Empire Junior Senior High School from the seventh grade to the twelfth grade, and graduated in 1993. I was only seventeen when I graduated, because I had skipped the fifth grade. I attempted Grossmont College out of high school and found myself completely unmotivated and no desire to learn so I stopped going. Then about a year later I gave birth to my first daughter. Six months after that I got pregnant with my second daughter. While I was pregnant I decided to attempt college again. I was doing exceptionally well, ready to learn, and self-motivated. I was receiving A's before I had to stop going to classes. I was having pre-term labor contractions and could not continue my studies, I thought I did all the right things to withdraw from the classes but I ended up with two incompletes and a withdrawal in one course. Then ten years passed and here I am again. Life has gotten in the way of my education for long enough. I am here to learn. I am here to succeed. I know that it will not always be easy, but I am determined to get Masters in Political Science, with writing as an option. I will use what I learn in English for writing, possibly books, and use what I learn in politics to help bring about change for all of us “Average” people that get so easily forgotten in cracks of our society. ” I have a Dream”
P.S. I am now a college Sophmore with a 4.0 GPA and I'm ONLY 31 yrs old. :-)
