I suppose the right thing to do would be to fill this out.
Well I'm a freshman at UCSB, the second ranked party school according to Playboy. I'm in the minority that doesn't smoke or drink though. I'm a declared psychology major, although I am toying with the idea of double majoring in political science.
I'm eighteen (apparently soon to be nineteen). I've lived in California all of my life. My permanent residence is Lake Forest, CA. Basically I'm from Orange County (I'm part of the elites group that despises the term "The OC"). In my spare time I complain about gas prices and traffic, because getting home is hell unless I wake up at four in the morning (which is hell in itself).
I believe that Santa Barbara is the middle of nowhere. The 101 has two lanes going in each direction (whereas at home we'll have five or six lanes in each direction). I miss having retailers such as Target, I miss restaurant such as the Olive Garden, I even miss Del Taco. I also firmly maintain that Santa Barbara is part of northern California.
I have a sister and two brothers (all younger than myself). My sister and I don't argue as much anymore, and when I'm home we get along fairly well now. My parents and I are close as hell. I'm the kind of person who calls home everyday even if it's only to chat for a few minutes.
Other than school at the moment I'm taking an introductory pottery course and taw kwon do. Wednesday is the day where I have these two aforementioned activities and classes packed into a span of seven hours. I tend to be exhausted by the end of the day. Other than that, my days are generally light and carefree. On occasion I contemplate about getting a job, but there really is no point now since in six weeks I'll be back home.
I'm generally a clam person, maybe a bit sarcastic, but easy to get along with. My roommate says I’m silly, (which I am), but she loves me nonetheless. We tend to stay up late every night and just talk and delay sleeping.
I’m constantly trying to improve my character (when I remember that is). I tend to either be spacey or completely focus on something. My memory is terrible when it comes to remembering grocery lists and dates, but I can recite Friends lines off the top of my head. I almost always have a good Friends quote to contribute to a situation. I also need to be more sociable. I’m fine when I feel comfortable, but when I’m uncomfortable I’ll tend to be more introverted.
