Born in the beautiful city of Chico, CA, Aree has spent her entire life amongst the politics of a very liberal, very outspoken family. Her father was a civil rights activist, her mother, a daughter of a political family in the Philippines, her oldest brother, a political scientist in the making. What does that leave Aree to be? A journalist perhaps.

- Queen is my all time favorite band, I also like Old School rock like Van Halen, ACDC, Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses and Nirvana. I love bluegrass, and am a performing jazz musician.
- Favorite books
- Anything by Jane Austen., I also particularly like Vampire novels like Twilight and all of its subsequent sequels, I love the Harry Potter books, and fantasy lit. like the Lord of The Rings trilogy. Manga, manga is my life.
