My Groups: A-TeamOther info: I'm a college sophomore, and I'm going into the medical field. I'm waiting to find out if I have been accepted to a radiography program. I have been blogging on ProU for 2 terms now, and I recently joined the A-Team.
I typically like to blog about new developments in science and technology...sometimes social issues. I'm always looking for something new, or a fresh perspective that sheds new light on an issue. Many of my values are "traditional," or "old-fashioned," but that doesn't mean they are not applicaple to life today.
I believe strongly in equality amoung people of different races and cultural backgrounds. I like culturally diverse urban areas like Miami and West Palm Beach. I find diversity interesting and a potential source of strength.
While I have my own opinions on controversial issues, I believe in free will. I don't mind sharing my beliefs, but it is not my intent to force or manipulate anyone to agree or change their lifestyle. (That would be extremely presumtuous of me).
I like to play with fire!^_^ (in case you didn't get that from the username). btw, black and red are my fave colors! I like going to the beach, watching and reading si-fi, comedy and drama. I play piano and violin. I enjoy writing short stories, poem, and lyrics.
