I'd like to think of myself as a punk rock Girl Scout, a devout member of Whispering Pines Troop 727 and Token Latina to boot. I go to a school of the arts, where my concentration is Visual Arts. I am the Arts and Entertainment Editor of the school newspaper (The Improviser), a job which involves writing entertainment reviews, reporting the latest music news, and even involuntarily editing graphics and drawing editorial cartoons on the side when they can't find anyone else to do it. Eventually I'd like to write/draw a graphic novel about Girl Scout Camp that somehow incorporates heavy metal and radical feminism, just for kicksI dream of attending Pratt Insitute in Brooklyn as a Writing major come the Fall of 2007. I hope to become a magazine editor, a troop leader, and most definitely a bad-ass roller derby star with some fake name like Siouxsie Homewrecker. Or something remotely clever.
