Mmm. Hundreds of musicians and artists to list. I'll just list genres. I like Acoustic Folk-core stuff. Ska will always be my specialty, raised rude, always rude. I like some techno-ish stuff for when I'm running. I like Ani DiFranco/Alanis Morisette sort of stuff, and I love women who have babies and play guitar. I love The Police, The Cure, that sort of stuff. I like some of the bands other countries have put out like The Hives and stuff. I also like bands like NoFx, Propagandhi, that sort of stuff. I love me some Irish punk any day : ) I usually like my music nice and raw, meaningful, with intelligent lyrics... but sometimes I just like me a good polka.
First hand is always best in my opinion. I love getting out there and finding things out for myself. But when I can't I trust, -NPR, -AdBusters, -WMNF, our local, commercial free, volunteer run radio station, and the only radio station to play Springsteen, -Some newspapers
