We Women

You used me.
You chewed me up.
You wrung me dry
Of tears
And love
And effort.

You're selfish
A cold lonesome mountain
That will never know
The true warmth of a woman's
Flesh
Until you warm the flesh yourself
With the breath you had saved
For your own lungs
But gave to her instead.

Give to her
Give everything to her
Those men you admire?
Those great souls of the arts?
Those masterminds of business?
Know of giving themselves up
Devotion is a special gift
But only to a human
So give to her
Love her
Help her
Care.
You say
Everything
Everything that we want
To hear and yet when our
Bodies aren't near, when we
Try to catch our own dreams, baby
Can't live; baby can't smile; baby can't
Try; so what are we supposed to
Do? We push harder, o yes, yes
Harder please, and we always
Fall to our knees, like
Masochists.
The ebb
And
Flow
Of you
Is exhausting.

This greatest fear
Of being alone
Only makes you lonelier
In your paralyzing state of dysfunctionality.
Stuck.
You're stuck in your ignorance because
You think that making green, that catching dreams
That being stable counts?
You think that's what will make us feel better
When you forget to call
When you fall away
When we can't breathe, when we can't even cry
And you're not there.
You are not there.
Can you be proud of yourself then?

Don't sit high and mighty in your
Productive corner.
Don't say its necessity.
Because we are the necessity. I am the necessity.
So don't make excuses for your sucky personality.
Because no matter how much money you earn
Or how much music you make
You will always be in the dark.

And here I am
Finally in the sun.

Don't you know kid, it's a two way road?
I just want to sleep you away.

So fuck
Fuck all you want
But don't confuse that anymore for intimacy
Because we women don’t need anyone else
Drawing from our natural resources
Pulling away from our funds
Our sun
Our hope
Our tears
We women don't need another obligation
Another responsibility.
So fuck a tree
Fuck the sheets
And fuck yourself
Because we women don’t need you.

You are only the temporary eclipse
Blocking our sun.
So save me the bullshit
And go put it in a song.

Thanks! That's kind of what I'm all about...women today. I'm just trying to empower where I can. I think this whole women putting in WAY too much effort for guys who just can't stand to lose them but won't put in the effort is a really big issue, so I addressed it...after of course going through it myself haha.
