Approximately 97% of what we receive from our education comes from us. Whatever we put in our school work, we get out. Our study techniques, the questions we asked to get an understanding of the problems we need resolved, our rest/health, our priorities, everything. Our study techniques and health are reflected by our grades and knowledge. Are we getting enough rest to be able to focus on our assignments and exams? Do we have any learning disabilities that can place limitations on what we are capable of learning? Do we have any social distractions such as our family, spouses, friends, and co-workers that cause us to lose focus? Life can be hectic, if our priorities are not correctly in order; from most important to least. We all need guidance and resolutions to help us achieve our academic, physical, etc. goals. When we are organized, we have better mental health, etc. Don't let adversary keep you down. We all fall. There is nothing wrong with falling. It's staying down that is the problem. Any one that doesn't fall some period of time in life isn’t human. Making mistakes is one thing that is part of being human. Do you know anyone who is completely perfect? Set realistic goals. Do what you KNOW you can do. Only fear a closed mind. The mind of a winner says yes to finishing the race. The mind of a quitter says yes to losing it.

I loved your post. I felt like it was talking to me. I've been told I'm some what of a over-over achiever, almost unrealistic. I tend to set goals that are sometimes unrealistic. You were right about keeping our health in check. This school year there were times when I slept at 3am and 4am just to wake up at 5am. There were other times when I set my alarm clock to 3am and times when I got 15mins of sleep (technically a nap). I later found that this was affecting my health and I have been suffering from a major migraine for over a month now.
I had a friend, just like me, who also got very little sleep at night. One day, he was driving and was so tired, that he fell asleep at the wheel. His car flipped five time and although he was ok, he could have easily died.
- TO EVERYONE OUT THERE, like Latara wrote "Our study techniques and health are reflected by our grades and knowledge. Are we getting enough rest to be able to focus on our assignments and exams?"
- Do not give up in school, but also be careful. Do not strain yourself. Set goals for yourself and prioritize, but dont over do it :)
